Question: Repack extracted data.zhx

Post by Guest on 07.05.09 9:04

I saw this somewhere at the forum before but I couldn't find it. Vuduy, I got a question. When I save a data.zhx, then I extract it, how I pack it back? Why I want to do this? Ok, sometimes the bot learned some incorrect names and I want to correct it (of course I must know the ID of the names, lol).. so I extract the data, edit it and I want to pack it back, delete my registry of SIN, then reload the data file back to the bot with all the correct value/names Smile

Pls. advice

Thanks.

Use 7-zip and make a .GZ file; then you can rename .gz back to .zhx;

SIN 1.20 will no longer use registry to store settings; so you can edit the file (SIN.ini) directly.

Yes, usually an ini file can be open with normal notepad and edit it Smile Example:: if you know items name and its id, you can add it then save again (This I guess only because the 1.2 haven't release yet)

great! i was having problems saving settings. always got an error. i think it's because i forgot to disable UAC. do UAC still need to be disabled in 1.20?

Nice. Saving it to an .ini file would be much handy when editing the settings or loading it from one machine to another. More often than not, I had to reconfigure everything if I need to use the bot to another machine (just like right now because my other PC's harddisk failed - due to non-stop "SINing" maybe, lol.)
