Bug in sin 1.04

ima report a bug regarding getting aggro by mobs especially while meditating (though i put a check on safe zone), there are times the bot will not attack the mob that aggro him instead it will toggle other mob and attack it instead of attacking the one that aggro the bot. there are also times that there is a long delay in attacking the aggro mob

It is possible that the aggro mob is OUTSIDE your 25 max distance, therefore the bot will not fight it and look for another mob that is within 25 distance.
Make sure your max distance covers the area that mobs should not appear. If you are fighting at the distance edge, and the mob moves beyond this distance, it will look for another target.

no sir. im grinding in a aggro spot coz i got no choice. the aggro mob is the one that respawn closest to me while im meditating upon hitting my char the bot wont hit back on the aggro mob instead it will look target another mob which is farther than the aggro one

I will check into it get back to you later. In the mean time, watch the bot, and as soon as this problem happens, click on the Logs tab, and check to see if there's a message that says "Got manual target or aggro'ed by <mob name>".

Also, how often does this happen?

If anyone else experiences this target skipping with aggro mobs, please post here as well.

Have to report the issue with the bot stopping targeting mobs after a few ok rounds.

In some cases after the bot is just standing, manually selecting a mob sometimes make the bot work thru its skill lists but frequently does not continue auto targeting again.

This was frequent also in 1.03. 1.02 did not do this too much.

Make sure that the bot pauses targeting is not due to lag spike. This is already posted in the notes. If lag spike > 3000 ms, bot will pause targeting until lag is gone.

Trust me, you want this feature; you don't want your bot to continue to target new mobs to fight when it's extremely laggy => easy death.

ima second this. and i dont think its caused by lag coz this happen to me too with 62ms ping.it will stand there forever after having this log "Cant attack current target finding new target", sometimes it will toggle a monster but not attack it or sometimes it doesnt even toggle a mob.i think there is a problem in mob targeting. for the aggro issue i posted i think the solution is to set min radius to 0.still might be wrong haven't tried yet.

P.S. @vuduy are you testing your bot on zx ph?

here's a temporary fix for you:

i actually "temporary" fixed this by using normal attack instead of attack skills. i placed all my buffs in the advanced mode. although the only problem now is it does not attack immediately, there's a 1-2 seconds delay before attacking. try tinkering it a bit and maybe you'll find a better solution than mine Smile

btw, lag occurs when you go over 100ms. 50ms - 70ms is normal Smile

i've got the same problem~~ the bot just won continue to attack after a few rounds. and in the logs, it says that it "cannot attack target; looking for new target". this problem sometimes can be solved by reseting the skill timers. but after awhile it reverts back to it's stagnant self~

Ur doin an awesome job vuduy~ keep it up! will post more feedback if i can~

i'm still using 1.03 but KS doesn't have a problem with me so far. i'm close to completing 40 keepsakes now.

When I was in channel 1 though where there were lots of players, it happened 1 time that the KS stopped because it cannot talk to the NPC. I moved to other channels and it's smooth since then.

Were there any changes made about KS from 1.03 to 1.04?

Woah, you guys are lucky; my average ping is 1.2k ms.
On a lucky day, it falls down to 800 ms.

For those having problem with their skills not executing, make sure that you have proper distance trigger. If you don't, the skills WILL NEVER EXECUTE if the target is out of range.
Click on the "Attack Type" button, it will give default template, and you can enter the values.

For Melee class, use Target distance is less than or equal to 4, for range class, you can use distance 8.

Without this distance trigger, a target that is outside the range of your skill will never get executed, and your bot just sit there and wait forever.

Proper triggers is a must.

I FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY PROBLEM! haha!

the min distance must not be set to 0 otherwise the bot wont attack. so far tested it on 1.03 and 1.04, that seems to be a problem for me. im a long range attacker by the way. still the 1 - 2 second "wait" after selecting a target is still imminent though.

the skills adcanced mode is still not working correctly when ever i add a (any)skill it stops attacks but last night it was working well only 1 acc not working but today after reboot i cannot get it to work anymore i must remove all skill inorder to bot

There are still instances of wht I observed from 1.03: femme sometimes returning without lock, male stuck after receiving lock. Haven't had a scuucesful full round yet without manual intervention.

re: targeting 1.04
The targeting suggestion hasn't helped at all. As above, if it works in the first place then stops, resetting skill timers helps, but then later it still stalls after a few rounds. Seems like there is a timer going on that is in the background that us users have no access to [just a guess], leading to the stalling.

FYI on my end my ping time range from 250-350ms, the same as when I use 1.02.

i think the hidden factor could be zx versions...it might work perfectly on zx-malaysia but not that much with zx-philippines. thats why i ask vuduy if he is testing sin with zx-ph. just some thought

ok i can make the bot work just by using the kozo quickslot. something is wrong with the advance mode when i check both of them the bot wont work. without the advnace mode i cant do buffing. i also got sumthing on loot range, vuduy reduced it to half the range compared to 1.02 but the thing is the bot is not looting alot items even though it is on my filter, maybe vuduy can make loot range higher a bit in the new version or like what he said he would add a sliding bar. just some observation and suggestion ^_^

I think vuduy has said he didnt play ZXPH. Its up to us find bugs for him hehe, as long as we make the report s comprehensive as possible.

kofiking's suggestion has been working for now: checked enable kozk skills and advanced mode, and put buffs only in the skill list.

But maybe you can tweak the loot pickup. It frequently leaves items behind for no apparent reason.
